Description
Heliconius sapho
A butterfly of central and South America. Longwings come in a wide variety of colorations, so much so that trying to assign a different zoological name to each becomes a near impossibility. Many of them have black on their wings, but if you catch the light just right, it turns to a gorgeous iridescent blue.
