...wearing minimal clothing is the only way to keep your cool!
This emerged from testing Genesis in the beta of Carrara 8.5 which has just become available to Carrara users. The figure is Genesis with Techno Tabby autofit to it and Stonemason's new Urban Future 4 in the background (which is Awesome!).
Lighting was difficult as there are so many high-rise buildings which meant that there wasn't much skylighting getting to the figure - in the end, I cheated and added a spot!

Awesome sci-fi image, love the setting, excellent choice of clothes, love the steamy atmosphere!
Nicely done! I'll likely hold off any Carrara 8.5 work until it is a production release, I've had nightmares of not being able to use Carrara at all after upgrates to 8. Hope the Beta goes well for you!
I often do that - but I don't consider it cheating --- just trying to get the lighting just right... nicely done!
Adding judicious "cheater" lighting is almost a must for fantasy images such as I produce: It can make or break the feeling of emotion, and frequently is needed to center the viewers attention exactly where I want it. So my feeling is yes, start with "natural" lighting, then do what you have to do to make the picture say what you want it to say! (Jumps off soapbox LOL!) Very interesting image, especially the zoom.
