Description
At the feast in honor of a patron saint, being a member of the musicians in a traditional band is very popular also politically, and people from the most important families in town often vie for it.

Ah, politics, music, and costumes! What a perfect combination; I would imagine that one can tell a person's political affilitation (and rank) by their clothing. I know that in Russia, there's an entire language composed of hats and so it's not unlikely that there'd be something similar elsewhere! I love the colors in this shot and the expressions on various faces in the crowd, as well as these two important guys. I love the green waist-wrap! There are so many details in this shot worth paying close attention to and I love this image as a whole.
