Cantaloupe on the dark side.....I bought it for $1.50 purely for the coolness of the rind.....:)

Love sweet Cantaloupe. Sometimes they are tasteless, or worse. Nice capture of the moon-like surface.
Perfect. Very well seen! I like your sense for miracles in "every-day-reality". 5+
I can imagine it has other moons circling round it. Marvellous textures, I hope there will be some macro pics fo us.
Great shot, well spotted
AmaZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzing ambiance lighting!
Fabulous! You see the most wonderful things. Since you only bought it for the rind, I'd be happy to eat the fruit for you so it doesn't go to waste! :D

Reminds me of the Death Star from Star Wars!
The wonder of nature!
This is terrific, unusual, funny and unique Cynthia. An outstanding capture. This turned out great. The lighting is perfect. I love simple and sweet. Truly cracks me up. Really farout image. Huggs... Silkylady...
Very dramatic lighting. Great job of taking an everyday object & making it interesting...
Nicely lit. Wonderful texture.
cool lighting!
Everything about it just feels so right - to eat or not to eat! I am salivating - by the thought of it ... I have often thought about the incredible texture they produce, BB
Wonderful moonscape, Ms Wonderworld. Right here in River City!
Wonderful!
What a wonder! I love cantaloupe rinds and have never photographed one. At all. This is an inspiring shot and I love the planetary similarity. Excellent, stark mock-astronomical photography. The idea is brilliant and extremely clever. I love this.
