Description
Taken last Saturday at the Holly Springs, Mississippi Humming Bird Festival.
They are amazing birds. Among many unique facts, they are the tiniest birds on the planet and are also the only birds that can fly backwards, sideways, and even upside down.
Their heartbeat beats up to 1,260 times per minute, and their wings will beat up to 200 times per second when diving. Yes, that's per second.
They were fascinating to watch!
