The pattern made me think of the original Star Trek with its double warp trails and standard-issue star fields.

Superb abstract and color Tara.
As only you can do it! A wonderful abstract design from your unerring eye!
A treasure! Fine colour and lines
Very cool at Warp Factor 8!
belle image!
Beautiful abstract, Tara. :)
It makes me think about a harp. I like the warm shades and the curves.
Second star from the laeft, and straight on until dawn.... Delightful light and form, Tara! Beautiful, my dear friend!
Great composition. Well done!
So surprising, what a nice photo! thanks for sharing
Really looks like the time warp to me! It's just a jump to the left...
Wonderful image! :)
Drool-making beauty! You have an amazing gift for this sort of image!
You've beamed me into another realm with this close-up! Makes me think about this exchange: Spock Prime: You are, in fact, the Mr. Scott who postulated the theory of transwarp beaming? Scotty: That's what I'm talking about! How do you think I wound up here? Had a little debate with my instructor on relativistic physics and how it pertains to subspace travel. He seemed to think that the range of transporting something like a... like a grapefruit was limited to about 100 miles. I told him that I could not only beam a grapefruit from one planet to the adjacent planet in the same system - which is easy, by the way - I could do it with a life form. So, I tested it out on Admiral Archer's prized beagle. James T. Kirk: Wait, I know that dog. What happened to it? Scotty: I'll tell you when it reappears. Ahem. I don't know, I do feel guilty about that.
Wonderful light and composition. I don't know if this has anything to do with beaming someone somewhere, but maybe something related to the string theory? Heehee!
excellent abstrac my friend...that abstract eye again
love the pattern and colors too
Excellent abstract Love the color Hugs Susan~
A roommate I had in the late sixties would have said, "Wooah, duuude!" Superb abstract. Love the back lighting. It sparkles. In other words, Wooah, duuude!"
Don't know what it is but it makes a great abstract and it's a great colour.
Excellent shot.

Wonderful idea of abstract :)
Wonderful color and light!!
made me smile warm hugs, Linda Kaye
After reading Bill's comment, I have to say that I'd love to find out what happened to Admiral Archer's dog...I mean...Porthos, the cheese eating dog was a vital part of the original test-run Enterprise to the point where T'pol actually managed to tolerate him without wrinkling her nose too much (that Vulcan sense of smell, ya know!) It also got me onto a tangent regardiing Nero, the displaced Romulan with the mean tattoo work and a habit of smirkingly saying things along the lines of "Hi, Christopher...I'm going to blow up your ship now." He didn't say it like that, exactly, but I love the fact that he never referred to a Federation starship captain as "Captain." Funny where my mind goes...and in looking at this image, I can definitely see the classic gold tunic, the braiding around the sleeve, and the iron-on decal Federation insignia (which, in the classic series wasn't "Standard." Each starship had its own insignia, which explains why some captains (the few you ever saw) looked as if they were wearing brooches purchased from Woolworth's or some dime-store next to the Paramount back-lots. Okay, I have no clue as to what any of this has to do with this image, but I do have to say that I love this image and the wonderful Star Trek reference. I can hear the Main Bridge computers as I look at this (and speaking of the computers, don't the updated sound effects kick serious butt! I love the opening of the Star Trek reboot with that "space sonar" sound beeping and warbling just before the Kelvin is blown to smithereens by Nero's spacefaring thistle seed-pod with massive Romulan attitude. Okay...back to this picture. I like it. I like it. A lot!
Not being a Trekkie, I have no idea what double warp trails or star fields are. What I do know is that this is awesome, bright and really, really GOOD!!
