Description
Beachzz and MrsRatbag should really like this.
Captured 4/25/06, at the beautiful Descanso Gardens in beautiful La Canada/Flintridge, California.
About as primitive as you can get. One would think that with all the big bucks raked in from the tourist trade -- and they do rake it in -- they would be able to afford a more chic style of fence. I suppose they just wanted to add to the woodsy Davy Crockett ambience.
Totziens, thankx for coming by, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

I rather like it!
Have to agree with you Harry, they could drop a few more dollars on a better fence
Lovely natural fencing....certainly not for security.
wow these rope work remind me of my boy scout days. I used to do rope like this in the boy scouts. cool shot of them
Well this is about as rustic as a fence can be. Nice photos and collage Harry. Dana
Great shots and perfect title. For me, this looks like a solid handwork.
Looks so much better than chain link. Excellent think piece:)
Oh yes, my kind of fence indeed; I love a fence that blends with its surroundings! Of course that twine won't last, it will have to be replaced, but it's all biodegradable. Excellent find and captures!
Dear friend Harry Beautiful capture & perspective!
Looks exactly like something my dad would have at his place..hes so rustic the trees are scared of him lol
Now, THIS is great! I wonder how long something like that would last.
Ah the old (and best ways) are always best... Best looking and best for nature.. Blends in perfectly.. Lovely.. Rob
