Stunning capture my friend. God Bless.
Great capture but sad to see the damage! :)
Fascinating! 1667. Wow. I actually looked it up to see if you'd made a typo! LOL! Of course you didn't. It really was 1667. It seems funny that they wouldn't repair the damage, but as Bill pointed out, if everyone repaired all the damage, we'd have no Roman ruins ... Ah yes. Sometimes it's better to leave things alone. Great photo!
Great capture! and here I was going to comment on government red tape holding up the repairs....
What? 344 years and no repair job yet? ;-) I am surprised that other builders didn't take the stones in the ruin to build with. Interesting place...unusual history.
Well, the repairs were done selectively. You will notice all the nice red tile roofs. Most of the buildings, and roofs, were damaged during the Bosnian War. They all have been repaired.
Beautiful ruins, great shot!
Amazing capture!!!Bravo!!!!!
Very nice capture, I don't remember this but I have walked the wall around the old city.
Whats that rebar I see sticking out of the ruins there.. LOL.. It's a wonder they didn't bulldoze the site and build a new house there.. looks good though just to look through it would be cool..
Shining shot.
