Very few low to mid range priced autos have hood ornaments. This is a classic and was taken August 22nd.

Ah, yes, the great Plymouth "Pilgrim Ship" ornament. Used in in decreasingly elaborate incarnations until the marque's demise in 2001. This is one of the more beautifully elaborate ones I've ever seen and really makes its contemporary rivals in the Low Priced Three look cheap by comparison. A wonderful shot here.
Splendid ornament - very classy!
I'm really not a car person (my priorities are low gas mileage, low maintenance, and a very high priority for a working air conditioner), but this is very cool! Wonderful dof, color, and details. I like the reflections of color in the silver of the hood ornament and the way it reflects in the red of the hood. A lovely detail, excellently captured!
