Description
Very few low to mid range priced autos have hood ornaments. This is a classic and was taken August 22nd.

Very Cool. Great Capture.
looks fantastic !! it's a sailingboat on waves and a sun !!
Cool and great shot Dana.
This must be harking back to the settlers from Plymouth England. Nice shot Dana.
What a super object! You have taken a great pic of it, too, Dana. I love the colours and the reflections.
Wow! Very ornate and I don't recall ever seeing this particular one. Nice shot!
I guess this is wear that expression came from. "It's like driving a boat" ;D Excellent close-up capture! :)
Very good capture
I'm not sure whether it is the original part my friend, maybe they have to do this piece? I'm just wondering. I would not haunt your post lol .... Always excellent. Toujours l'excellence . Bravo encore et mille mercis de partager ((5++))
That is awesome, dana. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. Nice work.
I ever was jealous about pics like this. We here in germany never had such fine front hoods like the americans have. Meanwhile I could visit a carshow here in Berlin and I could capture some of these signs. Great stuff, Dana, a golden era of automobile construction. Thanks for sharing!
fantastic capture
Very cool shot and capture , Dana !Excellent object and capture !
TERRIFIC SHOT
easy to see why they stopped them.that thing could really hurt someone if they were to survive the actual crush of the car
WOW...Very, very cool image Dana, gorgeous shot, very well done!
Wow, I've never seen this before; it reminds me of a ship in sail... well captured!
Cool capture of a hood ornament similar to the one on my 1935 Plymouth coupe, the first auto I owned, that I purchased second hand for 300 dollars after I got out of the Army, Dana.

A so wonderful capture!!!!!
bien vu!
Great shot, so elegant and classic!
I was only thinking that it is such a shame that cars don't have the ornaments on the bonnets anymore like the jaguar etc. This is a super one, love the red of the car :o)
I remember these!!! Thanks for the this shot!
