I love life in young countries: Australia, the USA, Canada...they all have that historical look that reminds me of Clint Eastwood being good, bad, or ugly--depending on who got shot. I love the details in this as well as the glimpse back in time. Superb. I like this quite a lot.

I totally agree and know what you mean mate. But I was reminded by a visitor to our school the other day that Australia has been populated for 50,000 years and not a few hundred like I was taught in school way back then. The Koori people (Aboriginals) have been here 50,000 years and never polluted or destroyed ANYTHING. We have certainly made up for that in the last few hundred eh! Did you know that the Aboriginals were not even counted in the human population count here in Australia until 1972. :(
Ha, I went here in 1984 whilst on my way to Adelaide to visit family. Had a year in Australia. Enjoy my visit to Sovereign Hill.
