Interesting image! Excellent capture! :)
How interesting! Something we don't need here..hehe!
OH and I hope people know NOT to go that way, when it is thick of snow :)))Fantastic shot.
Excellent capture! :)
No I don't see too many of those around where I live either! Great photo mate.
not seen often in bournemouth...but haveseen them in other countries...very necessary....super capture
wow this is cool
Stunning capture. God Bless.
A super capture Priska. I saw lots of these when I was in Switzerland.
How very interesting Priska, I had no idea, that there was such a thing - now I wonder, if it would really work? you know it reminds me somehow of a sort of weaponry, from an ancient war left behind, just like catapults ... ;-) BB
Yes it works, snow can not get speed this way.. :)
Amazing view of those protections
Very fine and excellent capture, Priska! Looked like lots of cross' at first glance. I'm a bit impressed if these really can hold tons of heavy snow back on the slope! :o)
l'imagination de l'homme n'a pas de limites :) belle photo
Rugged mountain and an interesting avalanche protection. Dana
We do need these here in Washington state...the Cascade Mountains are very prone to avalanche problems in the spring. Love your POV...that looks like at least a 45 degree slope.
Etonnant concept et belle photographie
