Description
I'm almost certain this is Sphex pennsylvanicus, on Queen Anne's Lace in my garden. I love Queen Anne's Lace and always leave some grow, it's considered a weed here, but I think they are so pretty.
We are off to the Hollow .. Wooo Hooo .. finally!
Hope you all have a good week.
Oh, and slow down on the posting or I'll never get caught up in all of your galleries!
Many thanks for the wonderful comments .. I so enjoy reading each one! Thanks for the faves as well

A lovely capture of the flower and the critter who does look very sleek. I haven't seen one like that before, our wasps are a lot fatter. This is a different QA lace flower than what I have so I will send you a photo of mine when you get back. Enjoy your trip to the Hollow and take lots of photos and I hope the weather stays fine for you to do some sunbathing.
