Description
This rose is my favorite rose. I grew up with these roses and Barberry around the block, where I lived all my childhood. Now I live in an area with these roses all over and the scent makes me think about my happy childhood. No wonder I love them, HUH?

These look to be wonderful wild roses and how lovely to get their perfume for free. An excellent capture.
Some of my favorites as well. They're so beautiful! A lovely image. Thanks for the click to the "birds!"
So I have to ask: are they deer-resistant roses? I've heard frightening tales about Danish deer and how they invade gardens so easily! Real horror stories, if you're a plant! The color of those petals is really sharp and amazing. I have similar flower memories, but not really of roses. With me, it was more like peonies and lilac, but similar, I think, because I also remember the smells and the way I would always be more interested in the ants than the flowers. I was a weird kid, which is normal, since kids are weird. I like the way these two rose heads are like islands floating in a green sea. There's an island in the distance too, and I think that's the one where they make those big statues that stare out at the green. (Hmmm...is there a story about to erupt from that crazy Muse who has been taking a coffee break all day?) I like this a lot, especially the light and the way it changes color a little bit. There's the white (almost like sea foam) and then there is the way it slides around the green. Nice! Very nice!
