Description
The Church was designed and build by Carl Otto Hager during 1880-1882 according to Neo-Gothic Style. The church has interesting towers, window patterns and plastered panels, which are repeated on the impressive pulpit. A monument to commemorate The Great Trek centenary in 1938 also stands on the terrain. The Church was declared a National Monument in 1978.
Another bit of history from the Swartland.
Have a great day - thanks for all the comments!
