Description
After a lot of Poser I'm back to Bryce and my beloved subject: spaceships.
Also if I have and use Bryce 7 Pro I still use also Bryce 4 (because is fast and stable) and this image is made with the good old Bryce 4.
The render style is deliberately inspired by the style of the famous genere illustrator Fred Gambino, who also use extensively Bryce in his works.
The two spaceships in foreground came from my Rederosity product named "Spaceforce - The Collection". You can find them at a very low price along with other 22 different fully textured spaceships compatible with Bryce 4 or upper versions.
Rendered in Bryce 4, postwork with Photoshop 7 and Dynamic-Photo HDR.

Great ship and textures!! Kudos to good old Bryce4!! I too prefer to work and render with it, compared to any newer version (5.x, 6.x and 7.x, which I have too). ;)

Another wonderful render! I can see the resemblance to Gambino's work. Very nice! I'm a fan of Gambino's work, but I didn't know the uses Bryce. That's very interesting.

Definitely resembles Frank Gambino's style. If I recall correctly, he was one of the well-known British SF illustrators who successfully made the transition from traditional media to 3D CGI. A nice collection of his work is the art book "Ground Zero" published by Paper Tiger in 2001.
