Description
A fond memory of a couple of summers I spent up in the Hebrides (Scotland) , in this isolated cottage by the sea, with a beautiful view over Staffa island (known for its steep cliffs made of basalt columns), off the little harbour of Bunessan, on the isle of Mull. Please zoom !
Thank you very much for your comments on my latest Icelandic pic.

Wonderful picture , splendid capture !
What gorgeous scenery! The cottage must of been a great place for r&r. The smell of the sea and the outstanding view of the cliffs sounds like a wonderful place to visit. The barren landscape with the flowered thistles outside the cottage adds to the beauty. Thanks for sharing !!
Wonderful photography and focus, Jean-Luc!!!
Du Tonerre cette photo, j'adore

very beautiful capture.seems the whole world has these beauties at least while the flowers are in bloom.then later people are cussing them trying to get them off your pants and dogs
Such a sweet image, beautifully titled! It's almost like something out of a fairy tale.. somewhere in a faraway land.... beautiful nature scene.... romantic and lovely! Incredible POV with a perfect focus on the subject of importance!
Very beautiful image my friend, amazing photo, loved it very much!
The strong stand of thistle before the barn is a great composition!
Wonderful capture!!!
Beautifully composed Jean-Luc. I would have thought it somewhere in the Mediterranean, but am not surprised to see it was on the Isle of Mull. I saw palmetto trees in Ullapool, at nearly 56 degrees north.
excellent POV les couleurs sont superbes
I love your composition.
adorable scene , love the pov and de composition , congrats Jean !
as always, I'm way behind. My apologies. My favorite flowers seem to be weeds, I love thistles, I adore dandelions, I won't go on, LOL. This is simply a beautiful portrait of the Thistle Plant!
