Description
One of my top ten favorite sci-fi novels.
Starfield Background - Moodflow
Ship - NeferiousDrO
postworked in PSP7 along with the lightning.
The scale or distance may look a bit off but, in the desert distance is deceiving...at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)
Thanks
Mark

Brilliant work, mate. This is one of your best ever. Also one of the best Dune pieces I've ever seen. Bravo!
Wonderful work!
Love the foreground terrain and texture- I agree, it's a movie that should be seen several times to fully understand.
Foreground is killer, great use of overlays w/ proceduals, again proper Markal
loves the first movie, this is very good
The foreground is great. I think the nebula is not distinct enough ...looks like clouds.
Fantastic image and lighting! Corrie
Beautiful! One of my favorite novels too! You did great here!
fantastic sci-fi scene, great landscape and background, wonderful artwork
Great SCI-FI image, Dune is indeed one of the nicest movies nice textures
Superb.
As much as the David Lynch movie was good..the 2002 re-workings "Dune" and "Children Of Dune"(Artisan Home Entertainment) were much closer to the novels, and in my opinion much better movies. This is a cool image...love the ship model by Neferious DrO!I would have imagined more of a hazy atmo, although that would obscure your great space vista...nicely done!
very fine space-art and Terragen...only the white Lightning (right-side) or whatever it is doesnt fit
Great world and surfacing!!!
Nice crispness in the foreground and the detail is awesome!!!
Full-size view definitely a must to catch all those great details!
A very nice render again, Mark! Love the terrain in the foreground and the overall colouring. I agree to choronr and grafikeer regarding the space dust and atmo, makes the horizon look a bit too hard imo. Looks super nevertheless!
absolute classic!! And the book was too
Awesome work, sorry I didn't notice when it first went up! Your terrain and the surface textures are breath-taking, wow!
Excellent recreation.
