Oh, the power and the passion
Oh, the temper of the time
Oh, the power and the passion
Sometimes you've got to take the hardest line
***
You may be unfamiliar with those lyrics, because it's the title from an old Australian hit song by the Rock group 'Midnight Oil'.
It has also very little to do with my post today - a PASSIONFRUIT flower from my garden.
It just stirred some memories reading the word 'Passion', it can happen you know! ;-)
***
On another train of thought, I have actually got an idea of calling this pretty unusual flower either a 'HELI-FRUIT' or a 'PASSION-COPTER' and if you look closely, you may also see what I see a couple of helicopter blades ? or maybe something totally different ...
Enjoy the weekend ...
Cheers *BB* aka Brigitte

Very beautiful Brigitte.
Loved your comment on Sandra's post about the way we Geminis put things off sometimes! This is a great angle on the flower.
Superb marco of this beautiful and slightly alien looking flower. It looks like it is attacking itself.
Amazing! Great capture and work!
This is so nice, good macro capture.
The handset of a telephone a veil of a bride a graceful skirt a sweater dancing everything is beautiful in this purple and white passion wonderful floating in the wind amazing power in a stunning photo!
Wonderful capture of this strange but very beautiful Flower!! Awesome light, detail, and color!!
Super capture and composition, I see the organic copter and it's off to pick up some passengers...prolly bees ! BTW, 'Power & the Passion' was also the name of that Oil's album as well LOLLIES & ~Cheers~
Great capture !!
This is awesome! A very beautiful capture with perfect framing!
Outstanding image!!!!! :)
Sehr schön!
fantastic-looking image!
Stellar colors, focus and composition in this sharp macro, Briggitte! Actually, haha, to me the top part resembles a combination of a sea anemone and an urchin. As for the so called helicopter blades, they remind me of the insoles of my walking shoes.
wonderful pic
A super capture of this beautiful flower and I like the angle you have taken this shot from. This does look as if it could take off with those helicopter blades and wouldn't it look pretty flying through the air with its frilly skirt. We have a very cold wind today so a good excuse not to go out. I hope your Sunday is going well.
I do see the counterweights for chopper blades!
Incredible.
wonderful flower and colors, great macro shot

This flower looks really weird! Beautiful shot, Brigitte! If it starts hovering around in your garden don't be surprised! ;o)
