GREAT made!! Nostalgie pur!
Fabulous work, wonderful idea.
Wonderful idea and a perfect realization! The combination of your fotography in the background and the portraits and the writing above works very well. A jewel! Thanks to sharing this material with us!
excellent work my friend
OH! this is so beautiful, Tara and such a great idea. Superbly done :-)
A very impressive effort with superb results. I made a photographic family tree for my grandmother's 90th birthday so I know how much work went into this. Unfortunately I didn't have any letters since my family doesn't write much. Really exceptional work.
What a masterpiece! Isn't interesting how fierce those hairstyles made women look? Probably quite falsely in the main.
This is a wonderful bit of work and a fantastic idea Tara.
Wonderful job on this Tara! I love this kind of stuff and you did it superbly.
What an excellent piece of photo work! Well done you!
wonderful old style and idea !!
Fantastic work, Tara I can almost hear a voice-over, vocalizing the letter
How I wish I'd saved letters I got so many years ago. They are such treasures. This is simply wonderful, a treasure of your own!!
Really wonderful, so nostalgic and beautifully done.
Wonderful creation!!
Well done. The effect you've achieved is classic...layer upon layer...like our memories. Overlapping images each having a unique story to tell. Family history...grandparents, great grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles...where they came from, where they moved to, the homes they lived in, everyday happenings in everyday lives. There's an atmosphere here...like I recall when rumaging around through an old trunk in my grandmother's attic. I really like this!
What a creative and unique idea, and you did an excellent job.
Very lovely, Tara! This would make a great cover for a family album, or geneaology book. Superb work, dear friend!
This is fantastic Hugs Susan~
Oh this is cool!! I love these collage type things. Great work here!
memories read to stare in place for a time a soul can view this is cool really is as I smile thank you so warm hugs, Linda Kaye
This is stunning! It reminds me of a book cover--the good kind of book cover, but more than that, it's an excellent collage all on its own. Everything is blended so marvelously and it makes me curious about the people shown here: who were they? How did they live? What did their voices sound like? Things like that. I love the delicate touches, the way there seem to be solid and not-so-solid components of this, all held together with...well...a patina of age. This is stunning.
Awesome composition!
Excellent work.
That is fantastic! Very well put together and I love the style.
Wow!!!! Superb composition. I love this work. Brilliant .....
Well done Tara!
This is marvelous! I'm going to have to try to remember to show it to my mom the next time I see her. She (and my dad too, before he died) has collected a lot of family history and will be very interested. Beautiful work! Wonderful textures, layers, and composition. The bits of the letter I could read were fascinating.
Great work.
