Just a bit of playing around with a number of ideas and techniques....
I found this absolutely frakkin' cool freebie from Simon-3D called Mech 1258 available in the freebies section.... Just love him! I had to put him in something, so here he is playing the part of Spirit's noble steed.
The background was created in Bryce 7.1, with a little Photoshop playing around. The spaceship is Thunderstriker by NightmareHero also available in the freebies section. NightmareHero has a ton of awesome spaceships - they really do kick some serious behind. Especially when you start playing with textures and shaders in the mat room.
Spirit's staff is comprised of a couple simple primatives. I created the headpiece for the staff in Photoshop and Bryce.
I had a lot of fun creating this, and hope you enjoy looking at it.
