Description
Libellula saturata.
When I am out birding in a riparian area in the summer, I commonly find dragonflies. This is probably the second most common dragonfly at Sweetwater Wetlands, Arizona, USA.

I've never seen one. It's beautiful.
Great capture :))
fine macro and POV
Never seen this side of the ocean... Brilliant macro shot ! Thank you for paying a visit in the depth of my gallery... I do appreciate your comments on old (and new) images VERY much !
Superb photo, very nice capture.
great captured !! like the details from the wings too!!
Amazing good capture, wonderful details.
very nice!
I think you should have made the wings more translucent and thinner. Now, joking aside, that is a beautiful capture. I have a camera but I am helpless with it. You also made me look up "riparian", and I live next to a river and didn't know what it meant. So what is the second most common dragonfly in Arizona?? I can't be the famous carrot-tail dragonfly?
