Description
in the Palazzo del Capitanio in Padua. It dates from 1344. The signs of the zodiac are there and 24 hours. Other details I'm sure Sandra can supply. We had a great tour of the city with her and Flavia.

Great shot of the face of this clock, Jean. I'm happy to rememebr the pleasant hours we spent together. The clock was built by a famous clock master, but the fact that the sign of the Libra is missimg gave origin to a number of stories. One says that since the artist didn't get all the money agreed with the patron, at that time the lords of padova, the Carraresi family, he didn't put the Scales (Libra)on the face to mean that there was no justice.
