Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL

As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.

My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)

If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.

Oh, my! Look at all that GOLD! And then there are the "guillotines", cutting it into exact sized blocks before packaging. 40 pounds is about what a person can handle without back problems or the block crumbling. I'd love to see the initial part of the production (milk, additives, preparation for aging, etc. Did they let you see that, too?). I'm eating dinner, but this is making me hungry! Would love to have a package of this "gold"! This photo was a surprise, Bill. I simply love it. How many folks actually know anything about food production, packaging and handling? Yet, we're so used to having food and eating at will. More photos from this unique place please (if you have them).

We don't call it sharp. Mature, Extra Mature, Vintage, Extra Vintage, and also numbers 1 to 8. 1-2 Ok to feed the birds,the dogs will tolerate 3, 5 (Yintage)ideal for me, or 6 if with a nice apple pie and custard, or Christmas Cake. 8 can escape from the shopping bag before you get home.

Great image I think people to soak up the color as well I am talking about those who have allergic reactions to the weather change Called Seasonal something......... No accent. Yes. This morning when you said, quite out of the blue, "I posted a picture of the cheddah line," my mind was totally blank. Seriously. I had NO freakin' idea what you were talking about! I think railroads were in there somewhere, but my brain just did a spin. Quite aside from all that ... this is a great shot! The Tillamook Cheese Factory is SUCH a fun place. Blessed are the Cheesemakers! :P

To be absolutely frank with you, no, I have never thought of cheddar in my arena of cheese choices, which is really limited. And, I was going to say a nice cheesy shot, but that would impugn the excellent POV, DOF, clarity, detail and wonderful repetition of it all, Bill.

A lovely capture of all this cheese, they certainly make a lot each day. We have a little factory here that turns out speciality cheeses but I just like a nice edam or a mild.

OH GOSH! I was staring at a good piece of cheddar in the supermarket saturday. Didnt buy it, but now I wish I did.... DANG!!! This looks so interesting and it is brilliant photo too. I would love to own a peace of the middle sharp :) Just little bites for a snack. LOL!
