An arcane title, Tara! I do like the centipede-like train with the inscrutable face and the telephoto compression. Very atmospheric.
Dans le vide du paysage, je me demande pourquoi il tourne aussi serré. Belle prise de vue.
That is sooooo COOL! I luv trains, and this is a great capture! I have got to go back to Mojave.
Wonderful shot and I couldn't have put it better than Andrea has.
Nice shot Tara, fabulous train...
How many hours did I spend there ? What is the name of this station where train lovers meet ? Thanks for sharing this great shot.
Wonderful shot.
Never see this. Nice shot.
Very nice shot!
Yes...a giant caterpillar or centipede indeed...crawling across the landscape. Great shot!
And no doubt! Huge in lengh as well lol A fine shot Tara, love it! Of course I am fond of trains ;-) rob
Those desert trains are sooooooo long, and with the flat landscape you can see all of their massive length...there's a little town called Rice in the middle of the desert that is basically a tiny depot and train crossing with a signal...nothing else for MILES. It used to be a beacon for us on our long 5-hour drives from Long Beach to Lake Havasu every summer when I was a kid. What a great capture, and thanks for the reminder!
Fantastic capture, Tara
Beautiful comp and focal point!
I love those trains. Once, I've seen one in Arizona with 200 wagons.
Oh - I love this Tara!!!! The compo is perfect and I can see heat waves... Most amazing work!
a beautiful capture
Great shot, I feel like it's coming right at me!
Great capture! :)
I saw so many long trains as I was driving through and wished so much to have been able to get a shot like this! Bravo to you for a great shot!!!
Excellent picture!!
Great capture and composition Tara!
the iron horse in all its glory, beautiful to see in its own landscape
Very cool!
Wonderful image Hugs Susan~
very lovely
This is a great train shot, Tara! I can almost see the heat ripples moving in this capture! I love the effect of the bright BNSF engine, and the almost black tankers - it's like some giant snake making its way through the desert.
A super capture, this train looks like a giant caterpiller.
This is SO cool; looked like some kind of crazy caterpillar in the thumb--love the curve!!
Very astonishing image Tara! Excellent capture ! Nice weekend!
