Description
"Away with us he's going,
The solemn-eyed:
He'll hear no more the lowing
Of the calves on the warm hillside
Or the kettle on the hob
Sing peace into his breast,
Or see the brown mice bob
Round and round the oatmeal chest.
For he comes, the human child,
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than he can understand..."
The Stolen Child-William Butler Yeats

Oh, wow, this is so cool, and the poem makes it even more special. VERY well done!!!
Nice fantasy scene.
A stolen child is always a sad thing but all the moms that lost them surely would ask the Gods for the child being found for good faeries or angels... When you have a small one, there is a moment when you don“t choose the guardians, you just ask to every one to take care of the little one... You know I am specially keen on kids sp this one is just... touching and emotional. More coming from you, that are my unique adopted adult LOL. Lots of love and thanks, magical biker :)
Wonderful image, also one of my favourite singers, Loreena McKennitt, did a spectacular version of this song! She also inspired me to start learning harp at a very early age. Sadly my harp is broken from old age and buying a decent one is pretty expensive. Enjoyed this picture, so hopefully you'll enjoy this video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cr9Yajh1WMg
