Up in the mountains of New Hampshire, I found a number of trees, along a brook, whose bark was peeling off. Zoom would help.

Wow, very cool Dana. I asked Mike if he knew what kind of trees these were, because we're both a bit stumped, no pun intended, LOL!! Perhaps a type of birch, such as gray birch? Love the textures.
Stellar POV and clarity in this capture of the trees, shedding their bark, Dana. And is that graffiti I see on the trunks? Plenty of shedding/moulting tree fotos in my files that I should post some day in the future.
