Description
this is why the hawk was at the shed...
We have a family of a mama squirrel and 5 babies living under the shed.
My Dad told me to come to the sewing room, where we can see the shed, and to bring my camera. When we got there, the squirrels were just at the opening, when suddenly the hawk flew right down, startling all of us. I managed to get the shot of him looking at the hole where the squirrels had scampered off to and the next shot was the hawk flying off in disgust (he missed his breakfast)

Lovely cute capture Mike.. We don't have squirrels here in NZ and I had always pictured them as a lot larger than this, say about the size of a cat.. Well that's the impression I got from watching cartoons when I was a boy..lol

I think next time you need to listen for the music that starts just before the Hawk sarts his stoop. It sounds like something from Jaws. ;) Nice shots!
