Description
A Mass Meeting in Space
Due to the complex design nature of the ML spacecraft its Ascent and Decent stages have had to be launched separately. Now with both units safely in space and locked securely in the jaws of the robotic arms of the Orbital Shuttles Atlantis and Endeavour the time has come for a meeting of these two ML spacecraft elements.
With the crew of Discovery watching from not far away the crew of Endeavour slowly, ever so slowly move the ML-1 Ascent Stage toward the Decent Stage and its waiting docking port.
To be continued.
