Description
More from the Tlaquepaque "shopping mall" in Sedona, Arizona. That place is just one photo op after another! We were there with some very patient friends, but still ... I couldn't stay as long as I liked in order to get all the photographs I wanted! The place is filled with gorgeous light and interesting angles and unusual objects, and you know my head was absolutely on a swivel!

Beautiful colors, and this is a lovely composition.
Great photograph.
Beautiful, especially when combined with the decorative iron work. The tiles last forever and they don't burn.
Wonderful capture it would be interesting to see you postwork this image with the 'Plastic wrap' filter
very warm and interesting motive. the sun reflections are within the limits, could be fun to work as a HDR. I know you like to cut, still i would have liked to see the latern completely.
Super shot...I bet you could have stayed all day. I guess non-photographers just don't understand.
Very beautiful Southwest architechture. Awesome light and angles. Very well done!!
Beautiful :) I love this area and I know exactly what you mean about not getting enough photos!
I love terracotta roof tiles; Great capture!!!
This is truly beautiful, so warm and inviting!
Excellent angles and lighting and the colours look so rich.
Nice composition Tara. Looks like that place had loads of photo ops and luscious colors.
lights tend to smile in awe such a cute picutre it makes warm hugs, Linda Kaye
An amazing photo, Tara! Love the warm tones - so beautiful! Those opposing angles very much remind me of an M. C. Escher painting. This is just superb! I completely understand the "never enough time" thing! Been there many times (but not in Arizona, yet...). :-D
here you need a lot more batters and cards to take all the photos you wish. cool shot
You sure got around in that place Tara, lovely shot. We stopped there for a meal on our trip so didn't have chance for many shots but it is a nice town.
But it looks so very HOT! My mind wants to crawl along that roof and see what is behind the wall...
Fantastic capture!
Beautiful composition and capture!
OOOOUUUH! This is beautiful. Wonderful colors and angles and shapes. Awesome, Tara :-)
Oh wow! I have a freakishly similar image that I took at a Mall here close to me! Wonderful image dear friend!
The comments above say it all. The buildings simply cry out, "Southwest". It would be fun to visit Tlaquepaque at various times on a sunny day (aren't they all) and photograph various objects, alleyways, plazas, balconies, etc. in differing light conditions based upon varying angles of the sun. Composition here is exquisitely simple. Very niceeeee:)
beautiful shot! :)
Love the hues and it looks so Mediterranean.
Wonderful image!!!
This is a gorgeous shot, full of those interesting roof-details I learned to see in a place where every roof was red tile...even the non-red roofs (all three of them) were once red, but in disrepair. Needless to say, this shot brought back all sorts of memories and associations and I love it for that as well as for the gorgeousness that you captured. You have quite an eye, and this is absolutely gorgeous! I love the warm colors! Now, I wonder if the fixed-up, tourist-friendly parts of Ükür look like that. Probably not, but you never know! This is a great shot!
