Description
...discovered this old "White" [brand not color:)] truck high on a mountain...in an old truck yard near former gold, silver and copper mines in Jerome, Arizona.
...one of my wishes for our Arizona visit in April was that I'd find some old rusty cars/trucks to shoot.
...this was the oldest, rustiest truck I found ;-)

Ah! just a little tune up, little waxing and she'll be good as new Great capture, Bill
Solid rubber and castings! Well done on finding this one! Clive
Not so solid as they once were! This is a super find Bill.
Wow what a classic. It's at the stage where I'm finding it hard to imagine what it originally looked like. I wonder how rough the ride was without the pneumatics? Great shot.
loads of life left in it
Delightful find, Bill! Looks like a really good candidate for restoration! :-D
Awesome image Hugs susan~
A remarkable find indeed!!!!
That made me laugh! I have no idea why.. WHAT a great find!
Someone really drove this into the ground, so to speak. I love the block of wood between the leaf spring and frame, classic.
Well, that old timer has been around the block a time or two. Grand deterioration displayed in this cool photo, Bill. Rustville.
Nice find and capture of this beauty Bill, definitely a candidate for restoration aye.. cold see this in some park with kids all over it lol..
wonderful capture
wow that old. at lest they did not have to worry about flat tires.
Couldn't get much older or rustier, I think! What a great find!!!
Nice image!!
great picture
Gonna take a few days to get this one buffed up! Nice shot!
I'm glad you got this, but sorry we couldn't stay longer! That place was a wealth of rusty vehicles. I seem to remember getting some shots there ... you remind me to go back and look again. Thanks, honey! :) :*
OH yes, those tires have seen better days ages ago. I do like such old rusty machines too. Excellent shot, Bill.
wait to restauration,good capture
Awesome pic!
Very Good image,
Very good image and great details
rust never sleeps, cool find and shot
And the White company made armoured scout cars and the well known half-track (based on the scout car) for the army during WWII. But this looks a good bit older than those. The suspension reminds me of that of the half-track. Sad, but typical - once it doesn't work, abandon it. Nice mix with the red-brown and the rust blending imperceptibly. Keep up the good work! :-)
Gives the term "Rust Bucket" new meaning. Great find and capture Bill!!!
I guess it has seen better days, title made me chuckle!!!
You are correct and I agree. This could be the same vehicle that Andrew posted. Outstanding restoration project! :>) Dana
It looks like you can check off one your wishes. This is great.
