Description

Dutch: Oranje Tip Latin name Anthocharis cardamines. A butterfly in the Pieridae family. Here he sits on the buds of a Dame’s Rocket,(Dutch: Damastbloem). It may be that he has laid that egg below. I waited more than half an hour, but he did not open his wings. I have one photo from another one with open wings, but I liked this one more. After all the drought, it is now very wet. Above, they like extremes, I guess :). Wishing you a very nice Sunday further. Thank you so much for your visit, and maybe commenting.
