Description
I suppose that as these flowers grow on a tree, they should, properly, be called blossom.
Anyhow, there is a young Horse-Chestnut tree in the river bank on my walk to and from work and, toward the end of April, it was in blossom.
Being a young tree, the blossom is near enough to the ground for me to do a macro shot.
By the time Autumn arrives, these should produce some good conkers. :-)
