Description
As I promised, here the second photo after it finally rained.
Please zoom :)
Latin name: Digitalis purpurea
Dutch name: Vingerhoedskruid.
French name: Digitale pourpre
Meanwhile the weather is very hot here.
But today I have worked hard in the garden.
Just do something satisfying.
And always the camera in my pocket.
Haha, anything that moves, I shoot it, LOL!
Thank you very much for stopping by,
and for your lovely comments on my earlier upload.
It's most appreciated.
p.s. RR is a little weird.

aww...there are a lot of Digitalis here where i live...i used to make little fairies with them when i was child :D
Absolutely gorgeous image Mies! I love the name too - It is so descriptive.
Beautiful! Wonderful color, POV, and detail! Beautiful light. I like the out of focus circles in the background. They add a magical element. I had trouble commenting yesterday too. Have a great weekend, my friend!
GORGEOUS! I have been too hot to work since about 11 am.
Fantastic picture..love it! :)
What a super gorgeous Digitalis. Wonderful colors it has :D
great photo! meer regen dan hier, in Noord Holland! RS
Wow these are beautiful flowers! I dont think I've ever seen these before. I love seeing these summer posts, reminds me how different summer is around the world! Great shot- thanks for sharing! :-)
Beautiful foxglove capture. They are one of my favorite flowers. This is where the heart medication comes from. Digitalis is widely used to help correct arrythmias. It also is a very very dangerous drug if taken in excess or even small doses if it is not required. So many of our lifesaving medications are derived from natural sources such as these beautiful flowers.
Exellente opname.

Excellent shot. Beautiful flower. In Spain his name is "dedalera" and also "boca de dragon". Hugs
fraaie opname met die druppels
A wonderful and very clear image Jacomina ... these little bells look so lovely and very dainty - they seem to have their own little camouflage - but on the inside ! how weird is that ? Is this a predator of a different kind ? LOL It's very satisfying, for me too, to work in the garden ... Take care, BB
