Description
Apparently there's a really good restaurant on the second floor. We never got back there to try it out, so it's just a rumor.
Tlaquepaque shopping center, Sedona, Arizona. We didn't shop there at all. I don't believe I did more than glance in the window of one or two stores. It was all about the photography! I could have spent a week in there and never run out of things to shoot.

All that's missing is a guy in a sombrero....love the colour of this, when Bill takes you back be sure to get a table by the window.....
Looks like a photog's dream, all right! Love all the warm colors, and southwestern achitecture - just gorgeous, Tara! And of course you now have a reason to go back - to try that restaurant! :-D
What really grabs me is that spreading vine, almost like it's growing there as a talisman for good luck...if you walk under the right branch of it, you'll catch all of the sales that year...or something like that. I love the Southwest Architectural style as well. I can't say that the style IS my favorite, but IN the Southwest, it's quite a marvel. I think it's rather like palm trees. Southwestern stuff in Chicago is rather like Palm Trees outside of the Water Tower...just existentially wrong on far too many levels. On the flipside of that, this is such a gorgeous shot of something in its native environment and though I've never been to Sedona, Arizona, I hear good things about it. Really nice! I love the glass as well; it adds such a nice blue reflection that recalls water. Most excellent!
I like the colors wonderful capture warm hugs, Linda Kaye
