You think you are grown-up, even old. But your roots permeate you. Not only to generations before, but to all life. We are one, and no individ is an island, even if this hermit often feels independent. Memories that I even don't remember have marked me in a way I cannot encompass.

yes we are all part of the greater good, I understand your thoughts... this image had nice simple lines and clever use of contrast... I would like to see art images such as this one presented with a matte or border to let my eye travel around the image rather than being distracted by the surrounding renderosity stuff. Give the image a little space to breathe in. I do realise that when I click on an image I get to see it on it's own but that is not my FIRST viewing and this is always the most important to me. cheers Carl

Oh Gun, this is awesome. I know the picture you've used for texture here, and you've used in a most imaginative beautiful way! Roots .. yes .. we are so connected from the past to the future and to each other, in ways we don't know or understand .. just as you have said.
