Description

MB3D / PSP Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are welcome and appreciated. This one was an exercise if placing lighting where I wanted it. That is why the glow is so strong in the upper of the 2 large domes. Have a great day. Stunning design and glow on this dome. Looks a bit like a Dutch ATM, or a phone :)

This is a most intriguing technique, Jim. It reminds me of the 'glass hemisphere' mapping algorithm in UF. At least the domed areas look like magnifications of the surrounding structures and there is an index of refraction effect in the domed zones. In any event, it is a fascinating rendering and altering the lighting gives an interesting jeweled effect.
