Such rich gorgeous colours! A marvel!
Well done! excellent shot. I like the colors in the water and your in-flight capture of the gull.
F A N T A S T I C Bill!
Beautiful photo, great colors. Now, how much further down did you fall before hitting the bottom? Looks like you took this "on the fly (or shall I say fall)". Amazing what one can do with a telephoto lens! (I guess I've seen too much Pirates of the Caribbean lately. But beautiful shots from Kauai!). I assume it's the north Oregon coast, here. Nice with the light on the foreground and the shadow dimming down the background. And, catching that gull coming in for a tight landing. :-)
What a wonderful view to the river and to the coming nest too. Superbly done, Bill. Looks like a windy day.
A beautiful contrasty action shot Bill and what else is a Bill for?
It was amazing to see them hovering there, touching down like little helicopters! Wonderful capture, love the compo, and whatever you did in postwork is marvellous!

Stunning view of this landscape! How beautiful and peaceful. I can almost here the piano playing in the background... the delicate soft sounds of the water as well..... a marvellous composition!
Super duper, Bill. Further comment echoes all those preceding mine.
Very stunning and magical capture, Bill National Geographic would love this photo
I don't blame them getting far away from man so that they can get some peace for the important job ahead for them. An excellent capture.
Super shot Bill and a great POV. Like the look of the water also. Dana
