In de haven
is veel te zien
in de zon
drogen de netten.
Voor wie ze net niet heeft gezien
mag ze hier tellen
misschien, zijn het er wel tien.
Op het strand
door het zand
liep ik er voorbij
met mijn geliefde
hand in hand.
dit was alleen voor de grap
voor de gein
want iets schrijven
dat vind ik fijn.

in the sun

For whom it just has not seen
can count them here
perhaps, there are ten.
On the beach
through the sand
I walked past it
my beloved
hand in hand.

WOW ! It looks like a weak memory from long passed time. Makes me think about our Harbour near by. It once was a wonderful Fishing Harbour with alot of fishing boats. Now it is more like a Tourist Marina. Kind of sad. This is such a beautiful image, Mies.
