Description
Captured 5/16/11, early in the morning, during the same stroll where I snapped yesterday's horsetails, within walking distance of my reclusive residence.
Worth a ZOOM.
The bloom sits amidst a whole host of future companions and/or replacements. And the bottom variation was added to smooth out the rough textures.

They both look so beautiful and it is a super capture. Hard to beat a rose.
Gorgeous capture and colors. I can't believe all the buds that will be available for future postings. Dana
Wow how beautiful superbly captured !!
I prefer her unsmoothed! Super.
Looks like one super-healthy Rosebush. I especially like the yellow ones..... you captured this one beautifully.
Both versions look beautiful. Excellent shot!
Nicely done Harry. Kinda like the bottom image...makes me think about lemon merinque pie:)
WOW - both versions are stunning in its own way Harry. I like the real one but then the softness just adds some magic to an already lovely bloom!
How very beautiful! The original is wonderful, and then there's that lovely painterly variation....gorgeous! Well done!
