Description
Last weekend there was a Duckathon here in HB. You bought a little rubber ducky and got to name it. My sweet little Ruby went into the water with 3, 999 others. She didn't win, but I was SO proud of her.
However, there's a very sad part of this story. My sister's adorable Suzee and her friend's Maynardo are still missing. We hold out hope that either they'll finally wash up on shore and be rescued, or that they are together on a gorgeous tropical island. We can't bear to think they might truly be lost at sea.
So, if if you're around the ocean, see a tiny little yellow ducky bobbing about, you'll know where she belongs. Take care of her!
ps--this was a charitable event for a local medical clinic, so these ducks really tried their hardest to raise money. they did a great job!!
