Okay, this is a little unsettling to be sure. I've been watching too much CSI/NCIS/Criminal Mindss lately I think. Unsub anyone? (refernce to the term for "Unknown subject" on the show Criminal MInds).
I don't have my main computer back from being upgraded yet so I have limited runtime content ... I had to be very creative.

Miki huddled in the corner, created where the chair met the wall, afraid, as she heard him enter the house. For some reason the corner made her feel secure, safe from the abuse she knew was to come shortly after he settled down. His steps echoing throughout the house as he walked from room to room pounded in her ears. The tightness in her chest gripped her almost paralyzing her. Yet somewhere, in the depths of the corner, she could smell the sweetness of fresh outdoor air. She could hear the breeze through leaves and the chatter of animals. Was that sunlight in front of her? Was this a way out, or was she finally subcuming to a free form delusion. The shout from the doorway startled her as he entered the room, and suddenly, without warning, she was falling, and there was no floor to stop her... Interesting image. Quite Well Done.
