I have to say I prefer it without the buildings...
im with andrea
I'm with Andrea too..
beautiful place and panorama
At first I thought it was a shot you had taken a few decades ago, until I noticed the waves and clouds were the same! Very well done, Clive
I feel the same about the beaches along Floridas East Coast. Should have been left natural and not loaded down with hotels, motels and houses.
It's beautiful either way, my eyes automatically go to the natural elements and skip right over the buildings!
quelques maison en plus aujourd'hui!!bien pire sur la cote d'azur!!beau travail!
I agree about the buildings Bill but what a long time those clouds have been hanging around!!!
You both had a wonderful view. Well done.
marvelous images and nice idea! great postwork!!
Great views, Bill while I prefer the upper (older) view, without the buildings, it would be hard to stay there
Splendid vista!
I like Captain Cooks view :o)
Great image Hugs Susan~
Great foreground effects and mountain opacity transition as they fade into the distance in these excellent captures. The two pics are virtually alike, Bill, the main difference being the structures along the shore in the bottom shot.
Love both photos !! great postwork on the first.
Amazing the difference the clarity makes, your capture really sparkles.
this is lovely
Wow! You've really done a nice job in retouching away the buildings in this. Particularily with a wooded background - not easy to get right at all! My hat's off to you! Nice original photo. Keep 'em coming! :-)
I'm totally impressed with your postwork on this image. Getting rid of the buildings must have been the easiest part. I wish I'd been watching you to see how you reforested the clear cut areas of the Coastal Range!! Fascinating to think about, isn't it? Really fine work.
WONDERFUL
WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!! Dang, Bill - you did one fantastic job on this! Not only did you take out all the overpriced hotels and other buildings, but you reforested the mountains as well! An excellent job, my friend! I'm totally impressed! I think it looks a lot better in it's 'undeveloped' state!
Outstanding postwork on the top photo made possible by the outstanding shot on the bottom. Dana
OH wow this is breathtaking... Looks like a painting or a photograph someone should paint.. Very lovely!
perfect motive choose ..plus perfect image manipulation done ! .... will this one keep in mind for later sceneries....
I'm sorry to be clogging your inbox with comments this morning but I just have to comment on this one. My eyes were immediately drawn to the fact that there were to clear cuts when Capt. Cook was here. I wish it was that way today. Only after looking a few moments did I notice the buildings were gone as well. I just hate clear cuts, but then, I do live in a home made of wood so I shouldn't be so critical.
