The Eurasian Spoonbill or Common Spoonbill (Platalea leucorodia) is a wading bird of the ibis and spoonbill family Threskiornithidae, breeding in southern Eurasia from Spain to Japan, and also in North Africa. In Europe, only The Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Hungary and Greece have sizeable populations. Most birds migrate to the tropics in winter, with European breeders mainly going to Africa, but a few remaining in mild winter areas of western Europe south to the United Kingdom.

Outstanding capture
Simply great image..looks like a repeated image..which is what I suppose it is.!! All the bird studies are really fine. i've looked at them all but chosen this to comment on.
I find it amazing that birds (and fish) tend to create some of the most amazing pseudo-fractal designs when they mass together and this is a perfect example. I happen to like spoonbills a lot, though I've scarcely seen any outside of a zoo. This is a magical shot, truly amazing.
