Description
Inspired by Donald L. Caldwell's book, "JG 26|Top Guns of the Luftwaffe", this image depicts Me-109s of Jagdgeschwader 26 at a base on the German border, facing Belgium and the Netherlands, waiting at "cockpit readiness" for RAF attacks that never came in 1939.
Me-109 by Bazze.
Slight postwork done in PSP X2.

SitzKrieg! Nice one!
Nice "ant's eye view" POV...makes an interesting shot and composition.
Mmmm, maybe dachshund eye-view. A convincing dispatch from the "Phoney War" before everything hit the proverbial...
Phantastic Scene composition and POV!
