Description
Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are welcome and appreciated.
This picture was shot out the window of our sunroom that looks down at the river. this chubby fellow was in no hurry and just seemed to enjoy resting on the riverbank for a spell. Him and his lady friend have a lodge built about 1/2 kilometer up stream from our place. Not sure why he is exploring down at our place unless he needed some alone time away from his woman and babes. baby beavers are wonderfully cute but hard to get pictures of as the parents are very protective of them and careful about when they are allowed out of the lodge.

Adorable capture here, very nicely done, loved it!
Nice work Jim, this is one of the few photos I've ever seen of one of these little guys up close
How wonderful to have these living so close. A lovely photo.
Ooo don't see them much here.. more likely to see a gator. :0

Lovely to this! There is a scheme to re-introduce them to parts of the Uk.
How absolutely fortunate you are to see him. To live in the middle of the natural world. Thankyou for posting this great view Jim. What a treat for us over here.
Must be lovely seeing him outside your window!!!
He sure did look awesome!! I never saw a beaver up so close before. But I did hear at work that there are alot around here this year for some reason. Maybe washed up by all the flooding waters because their homes have been destroyed. I really like the photos that you took Jim. Great captures.. Love and Hugs..
