Description
We were in the redwoods yesterday. SO beautiful! You just can't imagine the scale. The largest redwoods are the tallest living things on Earth. These beauties are by no means the largest trees we saw. I'm sure we won't be able to resist showing you several redwood images!

I felt such peace and awe walking among these trees. This photo really captures that for me. A wonderful photo.
Thats what I call a forrest... Look at the size of those trees compared with a person. Wonderful capture.
Beautiful !!! Great shot of the Mother Nature at Her best.
Truly wonderful capture!
Wonderful capture of these giant trees! :o)
Cathedral like indeed. Quite awe-inspiring. Without a figure it just wouldn't be the same.
OH WOW! How HUGE the trees are. One gets humble looking at it. WHat a wonderful sight.
Very cool capture, especially with Bill there to show the scale
some mighty trees
I bet both of you have taken some great images. It reminds me of Mariposa Grove in Yosemite. I can remember Marilyn saying how beautiful this area is.
Please do show more of these majestic giants. I would love to see these in person.
These really are very impressive trees and I love this capture of them.
Super photo... These trees are even fascinating after they've fallen down. Glad to present you with a target of opportunity:)
wow these is big. have you been on google images and saw the houses and other things people made og these trees? http://www.moolf.com/travel/inside-redwood-log-house.html
It is quite magical isn't it?
Excellent and very impressive shot!
Unbelievable composition! Your image is splendid and I would have to differ... the scale is in fact imaginable, due to the most perfect POV that you've captured for us! It blows me away, in fact..... How captivating and what a titillating experience it must have been to be in this place, so protected and seemingly safe.... a beautiful haven indeed! So very glad you shared ths with us!
This is really impressive
Great shot, it shows the scale of these beautiful trees very well!
Splendid view. Superb shot
First time I've been there, I was stunned !
Incredible sense of scale! You've heard the question about if a tree falls and no one is there to hear it, does it make any sound? When one of these falls it registers on seismographs on the other side of the planet! Fantastic photo, Tara!
They are truly magic; it's impossible to walk thru them without being truly awed. I'm so glad you did this; everyone should see them sometime in their lives.
“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.” ~ John Muir The great Scottish-American environmentalist John Muir once referred to a redwood forest as a cathedral. How well you have captured that feeling in this image.
I wonder if that man still feels macho, walking amongst them massive trees... LOL Goes to show how huge they really are! (Not how small HE is) :D GREAT photo!! I love it! ♥
Can't get tired of redwoods -- EVER!
Large in size.
Such a wonderful forest. We don't have giants like these here so for me this is a wow...:)
