Description
Since you liked yesterday's pics of the semi ivy covered building taken at the Huntington Library, here is something in the same vein.
Top foto captured 3/20/10, bottom 4/3/10, early in the morning, on the vast and beautiful grounds of the worldwide Bechtel Corporation, within walking distance of my radiant residence.
Much better viewed in ZOOM mode.
I have no idea what the purpose of this structure is, perhaps for utility control over the complex. And, not technically correct, but for want of a better term, I call it a blockhouse due to its construction of what look like cinder blocks.
The area shows gentle loving care, with immaculate manicuring of the ivy, lawn and trees.
Au revoir, thankx for clicking on, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

Not quite a monoculture, maybe a duoculture!
what a cool way to camouflage a building!!
Wow Harry, never seen one this well covered before.
The ivy really softens this 'blockhouse', and it is so beautifully clipped it will never get out of hand. Excellent captures.
This is just awesome!
Love the new avatar Harry! The lower photo is unbelievable. Everything is covered except the door. :>) Dana
The ivy is so much nicer to look at than the cinderblocks. Maybe a pumping station, or communications hub? They're not advertising, so maybe it's something more sinister :) Excellent capture!
That looks like one happy ivy! I wonder how many plants are on there. Lovely images!
I loved this before! Still do my friend.. Its just amazing to look at, nice they left it to grow like that.. Good shots.. Rob
