Hello Everybody,
Today we celebrate the anniversary of the Netherlands Queen.
Then the queen goes with her family in the country.
Today she visits the small town of Thorn, who is about 25 km. from here.
I'm not a big admirer of all that Royal-stuff.
Yet, in honor of this day I give her some tulips, because it is her party.
In the background, the facade of our house, with Wisteria blossoms.
At the present time it will bloom more,
this picture is from a few weeks ago.

"Tulpen von Amsterdam" - I will always remember that song made popular, when I lived in Germany and that also comes to my mind when viewing this pic ... They are larger than life as seen from this POV - IOW grandiose ! My friend D. told me about the closed off street to traffic in Amsterdam, where you can sell and buy anything you like on Queen's Day ... wish I was there ! The mauve coloured Wisteria, like the rest of the garden, is a credit to you and Karel, Take care Miesje, BB

Wonderful tulips. I do like our royal family too, but I dont run to Copenhagen for birthdays or WEDDINGS or, as we had the other day,.... baptism of the royal twins :)))Didnt even follow it in the TV. They were in the news all day LOL !
