This old church is about 10 miles out of town. The main frame of the building is still standing strong despite several decades since it was used. What used to be a sanctuary for the early settlers, is now a sanctuary for rodents, and various other critters that have used it over the years as a shelter from the bitter wind and cold. The floors inside are so covered with bird droppings there must have been several generations of starlings and sparrows that call it home.

Very good capture Jim. It was a really cold day when you took this shot. I really like how you caught the setting sun,behind the trees. It is nice to see the grass has been cut so that people can get a close view,as you and I did.. Great job,Jim. Love and Hugs..
